Latin Dance club

Hi dancers

Just 2 more sessions to go before we wrap up the current series of the Harthill Modern Jive & Latin Dance Club.  You will see in the attachment an item, published in the village newsletter, which briefly sums up our recent activities at HMJ.  It includes an appeal for more local people to join us.  It is disappointing that attendances have 'dipped' in recent weeks, so we hope you will continue to support the club and encourage more folk to come along.

There is a sheet on the reception table for you to sign, if you are able & willing to give regular support a new series after the Christmas break. Alternatively, if you are unable to get to HMJ in the next 2 weeks before we close, you can e-mail me.  But if you won't be coming any more & don't wish to receive e-mails from HMJ please reply with the message 'UNSUBSCRIBE' and your details will be deleted from our contacts list.  We would be sorry to lose you but you could continue to see what we are up to by visiting our website www.harthillmodernjive.webs.com.

We will be celebrating the end of this series with a party dance on Wednesday 17 December, so we hope members old and new will come along and get Christmas off to a good start.  Your guests will be made welcome too - the more the merrier! Dress is 'smart' optional.  You are also invited to make a SMALL contribution to a 'Dutch' finger style buffet which shouldn't involve cutlery and washing-up!  Paper plates will be provided. The usual soft drinks will be available and you are welcome to bring your own 'tipple'.  We may extend the closing time if there is sufficient demand. We will also be announcing whether or not there is sufficient support for a new series in the New Year.

May I take this opportunity to thank all who have supported HMJ during this series and special thanks to those of you who have helped on the nights in any way.  It's been a very happy and rewarding time for me.

Thankyou.  A very merry Christmas to all and keeeeeeeeeeep dancing!

Regards.  Derrek
